funl Khi – Builder’s Edition, powered by Replit
The barrier between a great idea and a working product has never been thinner. At the recent funl Karachi – Builder’s Edition, local innovators gathered with a singular mission: to stop overthinking and start shipping.
The 10-Minute Live Build Proof
Driven by the vision of bringing rapid AI-assisted building to the city’s tech ecosystem, the event proved just how fast execution can happen when founders and developers are equipped with the right tools.
The evening kicked off with a deep dive into practical execution. Faizan took the stage to share his firsthand experience building with Replit, breaking down what genuinely works and what doesn’t in the current AI development landscape.
To demonstrate the speed of modern prototyping, he put the Replit Agent to the test live on stage. Using just a single text prompt, Faizan guided the AI to generate a functional career services platform. Within 10 minutes, the audience watched a fully visualized prototype (complete with designed screens) come to life from scratch!
Founders showcasing of Vibe-coded apps generating Revenue 💸

Beyond live coding, the stage belonged to local founders who are actively launching and scaling their products:
Open Web3 Innovation: We saw a showcase of a free, open Ethereum toolset that allows users to create, test, and launch their own tokens without the usual cost barriers.
Localized Ride-Sharing: A team presented their ride-hailing platform built specifically to combat Karachi’s unique traffic challenges and rising fuel prices. Proving their traction, the app is already live with initial customers on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
The 15-Minute Replit Buildathon 🔥
The most intense segment of the night was the live Buildathon. Throughout the event, the audience submitted random ideas into a bowl. We pulled one brief at random: “A webshooter that catches things as they fall.”
The builders had exactly 15 minutes to visualize the concept, code it, and display a working prototype. The results delivered under extreme pressure included:
A classic web-catcher arcade game.
A chain-reaction style shooting game.
An order-catching platform integrated with a reward system.
The Winner: A highly creative, focus-exercise based web-shooter game that combined mechanics with concentration training.
The Ecosystem Behind the Builders
An event focused on rapid execution requires high energy and a strong network. The venue was packed with industry professionals, tech enthusiasts, and budding entrepreneurs exchanging ideas and forming new partnerships, all kept highly caffeinated by our coffee partner, Kafeno Coffee.
We extend our massive gratitude to Replit for powering this mission and providing free credits to our participants, lowering the barrier to entry for everyone who attended.
A special thank you to the outreach partners who helped bring this incredible community together: P@ASHA, Karachi.AI, Atomcamp, Qaflah, and WorkMore.
